Submitting your response
Response forms are available here – for both landlords and tenants. You do not need to use these forms. Your response can be written in the form of an ordinary letter. These forms are intended to serve as aids. The advantage of using our interactive forms is that they will help you to remember to include everything you need to incorporate in your claim. All claims and enclosed letters which are sent to the Rent Disputes Tribunal should be written in Norwegian.

The response must be submitted in Norwegian so that all the parties involved and the HTU can understand the case. If you require help with writing your claim in Norwegian (or understanding the documents you have received), you can use Google translate (translate.google.com). Please note that Google Translate is not suitable for translation of sensitive information (name, personal numbers etc.).
Digital post (not e-mail) is fast and secure. If you would like to receive digital post (via your digital Digipost or E-boks mail box), you need to enter your full DOB and personal ID number on your claim.
PLEASE DISABLE POP-UP BLOCKERS!
You should first check to ensure that you have disabled any pop-up blockers on your computer which could prevent the print-out version of your form from "popping up" on the screen. Once you have opened the website you will be able to see the menu under "settings".
If the pop-up blockers have been disabled so that the form pops up as it should, but it is blank/empty, you could try using a different version of the same browser or another browser or another browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Crome, Opera, etc.).
PLEASE PRINT OUT YOUR FORM, SIGN IT AND SEND IT TO THE HTU!
These forms are not designed for electronic submission and need to be printed out, signed and sent to the Rent Disputes Tribunal along with any enclosures.
